ZefSci-Diamond Collaboration
Diamond Diagnostics Inc. is pleased to announce its official collaboration with ZefSci Scientific Inc , headquartered in Lake Forest, California effective October 18, 2024. ZefSci is a market leader and superior service organization focused on the service of Liquid Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry (LCMS) devices. Recently acquired by Shimadzu Corporation of Japan, ZefSci is now the largest nationwide service provider for LCMS in the multi-vendor marketplace, covering both the United States and Canadian markets. ZefSci offerings include service for Sciex, Shimadzu, Waters, Agilent, Thermo systems amongst others.
Diamond Diagnostics is the largest global provider of refurbished instrumentation for use in the Clinical Laboratory including systems providing Clinical Chemistry, Immunology, Hematology, Coagulation, Molecular Biology, Microbiology and Critical Care testing. To complement its instrumentation line, Diamond offers a multi-vendor nationwide service alternative for these same systems covering both the United States and Canadian markets. Diamond offerings include service for Abbott, Beckman, Quidel Ortho, Roche, Siemens, Thermo, Sysmex systems, amongst several others.
Diamond and ZefSci have agreed to serve its North American customer base with joint service and instrumentation offerings in the Clinical diagnostic and LCMS sphere through its respective core competencies. Through this collaboration, laboratories now have a reliable option to support both sides of their toxicology or research laboratory.
LCMS
LC-MS systems combine the physical separation capabilities of liquid chromatography with the mass analysis capabilities of mass spectrometry. LC-MS is a powerful technique that has very high sensitivity, making it useful in many applications. Its application is oriented towards the separation, general detection and potential identification of chemicals of particular masses in the presence of other natural products from natural-products extracts, and pure substances from mixtures of chemical intermediates.
